70 Most Popular Sodas Ranked by How Toxic They Are

I don't know why I ever read any food related stuff on the Internet. It ALWAYS freaks me out. One day eggs are deadly and the next they will help you live to 150 years. Even the air I breath is conspiring to kill me in my sleep. I have to lock the fridge at night lest the string beans come out to form a noose to murder me. Well they draw the line when they write about how bad SODA is for me. I can't help it. I don't drink coffee or alcohol but I enjoy a nice diet Pepsi (which is made with aspartame which is causing all kinds of evil health problems leading to the point where I will just literally burst into flames according to the 'experts') during the day. Maybe I will have as many as four in a day. I once drank the full sugar/full caffeine soda but have learned to go with diet Pepsi without caffeine. Such a sacrifice would have killed a lesser man. Now I see this article that uses the word TOXIC to describe how short my life actually has become. I so hate you Internet sometimes because half your shit is bullshit anyways. Bullshit that clutters up my brain and forces me to make choices about what to believe and I don't have the time or interest to do all the research involved to get to the TRUTH. My soda ranked 6th so I've got 64 worse choices to choose from.

As we’ve said, we’re into caffeine, as long as you don’t overdo it. But why drink a can of chemicals if you’re not even benefiting from the buzz?

My Diet Coke consumption (ranked #11 on that scale) used to single-handedly keep the Coca-Cola corporation in the black. Then I developed an acid reflux problem and it became painful to drink it. So I had to stop cold turkey about a year and a half ago. It's amazing what an incentive pain is in behavioural change.

It was hard to just go from regular to diet but now I CAN'T drink a full regular pop. Give me two with caffeine and I am buzzing around all night.
