I remember this clip when it was the COOLEST show ever. From the premier of what was a seminal program in the history of TV. It all started from two words on a post it - "MTV COPS". At the end of a pretty spectacular episode, Sonny Crocket (Don Johnson) has been betrayed by his best friend and is after the drug dealer that was responsible for all or most of his recent grief. The use of Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight" marked a change in popular culture when the biggest hits were everywhere like they had never been before - the art of the video had creeped into every form of entertainment from commercials to movies. This scene still gets to me every time. Its the perfect marriage of a dramatic moment with a song where both together have the power to break your heart. Nothing was ever the same after this.
