I don't see how some rest will change those arms back to normal. Lie down in the jungle, wake up with gorilla arms. Everyone knows that one.

They are being awfully patronizing of poor Gorilla-armed Jonathan!
I think they don't want him to get pissed at them. You could mess them up good with gorilla arms.
