Is It All Over?
Casual Slack mentioned today that Facebook and Twitter were ruining blogging. For the first time ever, I myself have been having writer's block so I am not helping matters.
Personally I blame tumblr. Instead of commenting on some image or posting a set of pictures under the title of 'from the files of the Cave of Cool, I am instead sending all those things to tumblr.
I can also blame my source material. Everyone is off on vacation so there is nothing for me to comment on. The world is still turning but not to my interest.
I could watch a movie but I haven't seen one in a week or so.
At least I have the big storms to watch. I need real friends.

You could have life sized cardboard cut outs like Comic Book Guy. Works for me.
Tonight, its just me and Wonder Woman and a candlelight dinner. Hope that one-eyed cheating scamp from Futurama doesn't show up again. Last time her and Wonder Woman had this chick fight and tore each other's clothes off and stuff.
Stephen Tremp
Thanks Stephen, I needed that persepctive.
I've been offline for 5 days and nobody missed me, it's just like real life! lol
OMG...I felt the exact same way Drake. Today is Thursday right? And I watched Inception which only further messed up my mind. If this was/is my dream world it could use more cherries and more Selena.
I'm not on vacation but my brother is and I'm taking care of his house. There's lots of driving involved. So I'm just exhausted.
Plus my stupid corporate overlords decided that we can't visit blogspot any longer on their computers. Stupid. Five minutes reading a post or two improves my mood so much at work and they don't care. They want my mood to be bad, I guess. Stupid.
Yeh Megan, when you start packing exploding schtrudle in your lunch bag, then there will be some rethinking of that policy.
I am not on vacation but my brother was. He cam to visit for three days which necessitated two days of "Clean up the house, you're brother's coming!" followed by the visit which involved lots of sightseeing, then Monday Exhastion then Tuesday back to work finishing up the cover and illustrations I'd already been paid for.
Vacations? What're those?
MD, you carry a MAN'S burden my son.
Freelance photographers and designers don't get vacations (like me-sigh).
I still visit blogs, Cal, Don't worry that much.
Hey pal,
I just got back from Santa Fe, NM. celebrating my 60th birthday with good friends.. So, being an old fart, I couldn't care less about Twitter. Besides, you're the blogger's blogger, what else do I need. And if I'm right, most of the people who comment on your blog are somewhere between 20 and 35 yrs. of age. So you got the current crop and me, a member of ancient history. The whole range of supporters.
PS. I saw Inception last night and agree... needs at least one more look.
Dr. G, I am 45 so I appreciate my older readers as much as the younger ones. You and I remember many of the same pop cultural moments.
I am so glad I am not the only one who didn't fully 'get' Inception. Thought I was slipping there for a moment and wasn't able to fully pay attention like I used to. It's bad enough that I have to use the spell checker more and more often.
Thanks!
The plot seems to be a more complicated version of Dreamscape.
Nicely done and I really been appreciating Leonardo alot since I saw Blood Diamond.
PS Love those pop cultural moments more and more as I get older. People that actually saw Hendrix in concert are getting hard to find.
Just back from our vacation. Trying to catch up!
