He asked me one day if we could build him a special shelf to keep all his books and who am I to deny my bested kitty anything. Curently these are the only two he has on the shelf but he is an enthusiastic reader. No book on dogs allowed but Bunny books are okay or so he tells me.

How does he feel about The Tale of Samuel Whiskers? Is it like a horror story to him or does he just think Tom Kitten was stupid?
After these maybe you can expand his library to include the "cat classics."
