Was The Ending Ever In Doubt?

Hubby and I watched it together. Very exciting! No, the ending was never in doubt.
Fighting wars in this fashion might be a good idea.
Valiant effort on the part of the Canadian. The only thing I'd like to point out is that he isn't wearing battle gear (ballistic armor, carrying weapons, and full packs of ammunition -- about a 65 lb load).
