Riddle Me This

Justin Timberlake told a radio station during an interview that not only did he think that Ben Afleck would make a surprisingly good Batman, but that he would love to play not just any villain, but The Riddler.

What do you think of Justin Timberlake as The Riddler?

I worry about casting a contemporary of Heath Ledgers for a Batman villain but after seeing Timberlake on SNL I know he can play anything. At least he wouldn't be so over the top like a Jim Carrey.

Young face, bankable name, seems like it fits the summer blockbuster logistics. Its hard to say if we'll see it without reviving the entire Bat-Franchise.

I bet he'd do a good job.

We are Still Upset at Afflek as Batman.... Do not even know if he could play a decent "Bruce Wayne" (At Least ...Val Kilmer did a good "Bruce Wayne" ... Not so well as the "Dark Knight")
He might be OK for a blind super-hero.... But as Batman....????
What happened to Brolin playing Batman....???

I can picture JT as The Riddler. I think it would work!

Timberlake can be pretty good (as when he played the jerk in The Social Network) but he's always in performance mode, selling himself to the audience. The REAL Riddler would be malicious and sharp as heck and too cool to care what we think of him...

They all have the ego to perform. It's why they adopt a persona. They just want Batman to be challenged. At least that's the motivation for the Riddler. He's like the Jokers less annoying brother.

Here's a "joke"... a Super-Villain drops 1,000 "mini-Bouncy Balls" from 30 or 40 stories up into the "work-commute"of a major city....???
I can see the Joker doing that one....lol
