Tulip Progress Report
I planted that whole box with tulips in the fall, tulips of many colors. Looks like only the yellow ones had the heart to bloom. It's kinda sad. I wait all winter for my tulips to bloom and was looking forward to something spectacular. I may not get many but the ones I will have look to be pretty strong so that is something.

Tulips can be very headstrong. Are those peonies coming up beside them?
YES, the big bastard blower who's petals are too heavy for their stalks.
Our tulips bloomed 2 weeks ago. It was a warm spring here. The stalks didn't even get any taller than 2 inches before a bloom. Our cactus out here had a spectacular spring.
Blooming cactus I would like to see.
