Tuesdays From The Toybox

What ARE the six CB Radio related message from Evel himself?

You can ever have enough Evel Knievel toys in your collection. The man had a vision and marketed the shit out of it and I for one can't thank him more. The Stunt Cycle is my favorite toy of all time because both bike and rider were indestructible as they should have been. Pre-teen boys could not invent a way to destroy the functions of the cycle and that is so rare it's virtually an Urban Myth.

If anyone sees these great DC Superhero Girls figures on the shelves be sure to let me know.

Same goes for this great Scandinavian themed Monster High Doll. Everyone needs a reindeer girl in winter fashions for their Monster High collection. They laughed at Edison and Einstein too, ya know?

Ah, the Fighting Furies. Such a great 70s toy line that I had and loved. There were only three figures and 6 outfits you had to buy and you had it all. The cloth costumes and sword fighting action features were a big seller with me. You could use one of the arms to actually toss a knife (which came with the figure) at another figure (!!) In the peg leg of one of the pirates there was a folded up treasure map. Little accessory details like that make my head explode as a ten year old.

Like this set. The Hooded Falcon Adventure

I mean jus tlook at all the stuff you get with this costume set. You get the quill pen AND THE FREAKIN PAPER! And look at that tiny yellow knife, scabbard and all. Fantastic.

My own collection of three guys and a bag of accessories is much treasured around the Collection of Cool. I love all the extra outfit parts that I have. Such a great deal too if I remember right.

This Man-Bat from the early 90s Batman Animated line was such a great character. I have him still hanging from my ceiling. The newest repro figures are great and have a box that begs to be displayed. Yes, he is as expensive as he looks and the scalpers are out a plenty on this one but he IS one gorgeous figure.

This is not my stuff but I have been trying to collect all my loose figures into bags that contain the same character and then putting those bags in the right tubs with the right characters. Sure that separates the lines but I like sometimes to see many versions of the same character on display. I love these pictures by Super Duper Toy Box where Colin collects all his similar in one place. Those are so great to see together like that.
