I so remember this series of issues from the 80s. Banner was in his smart Hulk persona but was gradually becoming for savage. In fact he became so out of control that Doctor Strange had to exile him to another dimension to save his life and the lives of everyone around his rage. It was a great story with a great build-up to the oversized issue 300. Thanks to Rob R from the Dork Review for sharing this great gif with me.
