I planted bulbs in the whole box last fall and only this little patch has survived. Tulip bulbs are the biggest scam in the gardening industry. They never bloom except for this one area of the planter box. No, the peonies live forever while remaining unable to hold their flowers up because the stalk can't support the weight of the blossoms. It's madness I tell you.

Try using those wire cage thingies for the peonies.
