Fleetwood Mac - RHIANNON Live on the Midnight Special 1976
I never missed the Midnight Special as a teen. After Cadets on Friday nights it was much watch TV. All the best bands of the day playing music live. And they actually played their own instruments. This is when music was great.

Ah Stevie. My goddess really.
The Midnight Special was great. All the good groups would show up. Led Zeppelin was one of the few groups that didn't do a show. Think they were just too big. Even Andy Kaufman did one.
I still love Stevie Nicks. He music got me through college and University.
Dr. G - they even had QUEEN with the first music video I ever saw and it was for Bohemian Rhapsody. Blew my mind.
Cal, there are many, many bands out there today ( young and old ) who play their own instruments. They're just not on your TV...
