Still one of my all time favorite comic book moments and I was very happy with the way they made it work in the movie. It's not the same but in the context of the tale it's pretty damn sweet to see. Good on Karl Urban for never letting me down. He's a great actor. I so hope his Judge Dredd show gets picked up by Netflix. That would be epic.

i saw Thor Ragnarock today. i actually liked it more then i thought i would despite all the problems it had. among the problems i felt that at times it was a bit too slap sticky and some of the less then stellar CGI moments in the film kinda got on my nerves. i also felt the sets and costumes at times were too Flash Gordon looking i was almost expecting to hear some Queen music start in the back ground. then you had some of the logic gaps here and there that i felt was lazy writing even within the context of a sci-fi/comic book film. but in spite of all that it was pretty entertaining and had me cracking up a lot. also, i really want to have a threesome with Kate Blanchet and Tessa Thompson.

I loved it. I think it's great and if anyone could have nitpicky issues with it it should be ME because I know my Thor from reading the comic book for 45 years. They did so much more than I ever expected from the THIRD movie in a franchise that was due for a flop but instead came out with something glorious. I save my hate for shows and individuals who really deserve it. All Thor Ragnarok gets is my appreciation and my love.

It's just very cool for me to see the comics I read in the 50s-60s come to life. Just hope they keep the spirit of the thing along with the spectacles. Would love to see the Metal Men movie. Done right of course.
