That's What You Get For Running Your Mouth
Once a year I watch a wrestling clip just to remind myself how goofy it all is. I LOVED this stuff as a teenager and it was one thing that I shared with my Baba. I hope those poor people survive the horrible fake beating that they just took. I mean a Scooby Doo cartoon has better acting in it.

Back in the 60s, there were wrestling matches every month or so downtown. The wrestlers would tour the states and Tucson was one of the stops. Getting stoned and watching Big-Time Wrestling (that's what it was called), was a blast. You had to be careful about who you rooted for, those fans in the audience were dangerous. We used to root for the bad guys, usually the Dupree Bros. We had to get out of there pretty quick a few times. Once one guy chased us out to the parking lot with a 2x4. I kid you not.
We had the best local wresting called Stampede Wresting out of Calgary. The Hart Brothers were huge. I loved it too. That would have been a great memory to be chased by a wrestler. Such good times.
I remember the Hart Bros. Damn, I loved my younger days. We had such a blast.
Those were good times. It was fake but they TRIED to make it entertaining.
