Every student I ever taught learned about who Sir Nicholas Winton was and what ONE person can do with a plan and some motivation. And he thought he did NOTHING. The war ended and his journal went into a box somewhere until it was found and my list of personal heroes got longer. I like to think I would do the same if under a similar situation.
