I will fully admit that I hate Deadpool. That comes from hating his creator Rob Liefeld who basically gave guns to Spider-Man and added the healing factor of Wolverine. Nothing fresh there. Liefeld also spent time with the legend Jack Kirby and absorbed NOTHING from the great man. He still can't draw feet and what I once wrongly thought was good art never CHANGED over time. He never got better as an artist or a storyteller especially when he had exposure to some of the best comic creators ever.
By osmosis I also dislike Ryan Reynolds portrayal of Deadpool. He annoyed the shit out of me. I totally hoped that some other character in the first two movies would kill him so that I would be spared even one more second of his balloon juice. So this movie has a high bar to cross for me already. That will be helped by my love for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. No actor does a character for that many years at that high level and not become legendary. He brought that comic character to life, the most popular comic character ever (I would argue) and never let down the psycho comic book and pop culture fans. That is a gift to all of us.
So you understand my issues with the movie even before I get set to watch it. But I completed a ton of errands before 11 am. I deserve a doobie, a drink and my copy of the movie from Yuri in Minsk. Now that is a good Friday.

I suspect this movie will become a Cult Classic Legend and I haven't even seen it yet!
It does have all the elements required for that status to happen.
