BB UK Update

I love when I feel like I want to jump through the computer screen and strangle someone in the British Big Brother house. This time, it's Aussie John James again. He is so painfully insecure that he started a fight with Josie (his best friend in the house and a person he just adores but can't voice that emotion to her).

Every few days he needs that outlet. Unfortunately she wouldn't put up with his shit and told him that. She said she was willing to never speak to him again for the rest of the show. He had hurt her.

Now Josie is an adult. She doesn't say anything she doesn't mean. John James on the other hand has no ability to ask for what he really wants so he attacks. Once he realized she was having none of it, his whole world collapsed and he wanted to go home. Josie had to be asked to come to the diary room to talk him put of it.

I love the way she came into the diary room laughing as if to say, "What did you say this time, numnut." She has such a great way of diffusing tension and she is so ready to forgive John James who is really like a little brother to her. She finds him physically attractive but emotionally unattractive. I don't think she would date him in the real world.

It will be interesting to see what happens now that the newest male housemate, math geek Andrew, has let it get out that he fancies Josie too.
