Even Fresh Fruit Fucks With My Blood Sugar


I am so in love with my fresh fruit I would marry it if I could. Cherries are number one. Who knew there was 'yellow' kiwi fruit. Pineapple is awesome. Dark grapes are nice too. Strawberries, raspberries and boysenberries rock. But I can't STAND melon - that is a fruit that just doesn't TRY.

I'm not sure if this will work for you, but if you have protein first (like some peanut butter or cheese) and after that eat fruit, it might not make your blood sugar rise.

Yellow kiwi? Who've thought? You don't have to boycott fruit altogether, do you? That would really, really suck. I know bananas will send your insulin through the roof. My faves are cantelope and apricots.

We're in 100% agreement about the melon. Nasty stuff, that melon-y taste.

All other fruit rocks however. But stay away from bananas!

Which melon? cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon or canary. I like all, except mango.

Tomatoes are fruits. Avocados are fruits. Peppers are fruits. Not all fruits have a lot of sugar, I wish your "sweetness" levels descend soon so you can eat more fruits again.
