It begins and ends with David Palmer from several seasons of '24'. He had that great "Don't worry, I GOT this, bitch." attitude and was totally on top and in charge of any situation. I am convinced this portrayal by Dennis Haysbert (The Unit) had more to do with preparing the American people for the election of their first black President than anyone is willing to admit. Art imitating real life.

Agreed - Palmer was by far the most admirable and competent President on 24. Plus- he has an awesome voice.
He's the spokesperson for Allstate Insurance in their TV commercials here in the States. I don't care anything about Allstate Insurance, but I like the commercials just because of his voice.
I have always liked him a lot
