Old School 80s Goodness - Magnet And Steel
If you remember this song by Walter Egan - then you are my people. Thanks to Sambo for putting this one in my head all night. Gotta love that crappy video style.
Look, they are in a jukebox performing the song. There is a fog machine and 50s dancers who are totally uncessary and out of place. Weak as music video bullshit at it's finest.

I remember hearing this song although in all honesty, the 80s are kind of a blur for me.
My sister had the single on vinyl. The B side was a pretty hot number too with backup vocals by Stevie Knicks. "Tunnel of Love" it was called.
i think "magnet and steel" was also the name for the make believe characters that peter kay's character "max" made up in the tv series "max and paddy's road to nowhere"
Love the song...but what the hell is wrong with his face !
I was already in my 30s when that came out. I like it. He looks kinda like Buckaroo Bonzai's little brother.
I love how you know all the great geeky things. You never let go of them as you got older, did you?
