Oh Boy I Am Slipping
I actually found parts of this to be quite comical. Neil Patrick Harris is very funny and is that Sophia Vergera there is a power suit?
I also was diggin' that cat Azreal. He is good comedy relief and maybe we will finally learn why he stays with a numnut like Gargomel after all this time. Is he an evil kitty through and through? What would those two do with a Smurf when they caught one anyways? Eat them? How do you eat something you can communicate with?
SEE why I am torn. I want to hate this so much but I also kinda want to like it.
I have had the Smurfs forced on me for most of my life. From Europe to the North Pole they have chased me and often I found myself forced by circumstance to watch an episode of their program. You can't run from the Smurfs. They will always find you.

Don't forget that Gargamel is played by Hank Azaria! (from The Simpsons)
Hey, like what you like. Don't pre-judge it. Just wait until you see it for yourself.
I must reluctantly admit I liked the line "There's no need for language like that". But all in all, this looks like a film I was born to hate. Every cynical bone in my body screams out at me. And yet I bet at some point in the future I'll end up watching it, half drunk on a Sunday afternoon, because I can't be bothered to get off the couch.

Trust me Steve, I understand. No one hate himself more than I do for actually liking this trailer. If there has to be a Smurfs movie then why can't it be an ironic, fun Smurfs movie? I am confused and I feel dirty all at the same time. It's just not right.
You almost had me at "Sophia Vergera" and "power suit," but once I watched the trailer I realized you weren't talking about powered battle armor.
But aren't you glad you were mistaken Michael. Come on. Be honest. We couldn't see her in a mech suit anyways. The energy that piece of awesome would unleashed to the Universe would blind us for all time.
Ha! That's true. They'd have to hand out special filter-glasses like watching an eclipse.
NO NO NO..enough with the wearing of the glasses to enjoy watching a piece of entertainment. I would rather look straight at the sun for 19 hours than to sit through another crappy 3D movie. They are the dim devil, that's what they are.
