I know, right. I don't even bother unfollowing. It's just a spiteful way to make a point. I have my blog list of places I frequent but I can also follow the places I may have visited awhile back and now can go and check out what I saw in the first place. I may not be a regular but I would never give someone the message that they are not worthy of A follow by taking it away. It's a dickhead move. If you hate something tell me. I can respect that.
Even on Tumblr I don't follow someone until I have seen their achive. It's a quick and easy way to get a sense of a person's likes and preferences and if they conform with my own. We all care about the numbers no matter how much we say we do not so even two unfollows hurts. Damn those humans and my need for their approval. As I get older my need for it decreases but it will never go away. It's human nature especially amongst creative people like ourselves.
I agree. And by associating ourselves with you, we become younger and cooler also. I could use some of that younger stuff. I hit 63 next year, and I'm still pretty cool but the mileage is killing me.
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

I don't know how someone can unfollow you -- my Google Friend Connect won't load and let me get rid of old blogs! Why does theirs work and not mine?
Some people will unfollow over one post they don't happen to like. I found out some people don't want to see pictures of bird shit.

Now to be fair Ruth that birdshit may be on a cupcake and no one wants to see that.
