This reminds me of summer and the great little ice cream shop we have that opens only for 5 or so months of the spring and summer. They have the most amazing flavors. Three minutes from my house.

What flavor IS that ice cream in the first picture? Asphalt?
Black Licorice
I've never seen pure black licorice ice cream although I've enjoyed Tiger Tail ice cream from time to time (mixed orange and black licorice).
I've never been a fan of licorice.
The black soft-serve is just...wrong. I'm a huge fan of black jelly-beans, so it's not the color. It's the color with the texture. Enough said.
