Erik Johnson Illustrator said...: I remember this episode, the one were Batman and Robin (and Batgirl too) go to "Londonium" to aid "Ireland Yard" to solve a mystery at "Chuckingham Palace". It was from season three when the writers were looking to cash in on any flashy trend to aid ratings. The Surfing Joker episode was an attempt to cash in on the teen beach scene, the hypnotic Louie the Lilac had his mind controlled masses of "Flower Children", Batgirl herself was an appeal to the growing female demographic. Adding Yvonne as Batgirl was fantastic, but the writers pretty much went 'lowest common denominator' that year, and adding the budget cuts on sets made everything pretty dismal.; October 29, 2013 at 6:29 AM
