Is It The End For Beware The Batman?
I should have known with all the difficulties I have had acquiring my Batman mask from the Beware The Batman Happy Meal from McDonalds that I would be happy to see this cartoon going off the air but I am not. Sure it didn't contain any familiar characters from Batman's fantastic Rogue's gallery of characters but that made it more exciting for long time fans of the world of the Dark Knight. The animation is also fresh and fluid and I like the little quirks that they give a young Bruce Wayne (only drinks his special nutritional smoothy and is always on the job, even out of costume. The stunt and fight scenes are also very nicely choreographed. But according to a tweet that went out this morning that the show has been pulled from Nickelodeon's schedule.

It's a good show but if it is done it would not surprise me because they did this with Young Justice too.
Yeh, they really screwed up Young Justice and it's too bad because they got all the characters right. That 'five years forward' trick in season two didn't work. But then again they screwed up Superman and the Legion of Superheroes. I hear they want to clear the slate for Bruce Timm to do a more kid friendly Batman/Justice League. I hope we get something else but there is room for all of them
They screwed with Avengers:EMH.. No one likes it's 'movie-influenced' replacement.
A:EMH really, REALLY showed great style and originality. They wove some great stories into retelling some origins. Fun story-pacing as well.
Idiots.
Nuts to that! Beware the Batman's string of continuity influenced episodes is something I've been wanting to see in Batman show for a long time and was very much enjoying.
Focusing on smaller characters has been such a breath of fresh air for the franchise and the animation was top notch.
Speaking of Bruce Timm, I remember he stated in an interview that the studios greenlit "Batman Beyond" before they even had a concept in mind, as long as it was "kid-friendly". If that show is what passes for kid-friendly, than this new Justice League is going to be very interesting indeed.
Avengers EMH was great at the beginning but then the movie came out. I was hoping for a Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon. I miss the cosmic characters.
Erik - I even like Professor Pig and Mister Toad - who knew?
Dammit! I really like Beware! And for the record I loved Young Justice- the 5 year jump was brilliant IMHO. But I'm odd.
