Happy Birthday Stan
I hope the man lives forever. At least a hundred years. He deserves it for so many reasons. Reinterpret the past all you want but to me Stan will always be THE MAN. He has as much to do with my development as a human being as anyone from my Father to Nelson Mandela.

I was having a conversation with a friend about Stan just this afternoon. for all his faults, of which there are reputedly many, for all the smack that can be talked about him ( all of which I can perfectly understand ), I cannot help but deeply love the Man. Stan Lee brought me so much joy, and, yes, as you rightly say yourself, was absolutely a brilliant influence on my life. happy birthday, Stan. to Hell with the begrudgers.
Yeh, he will be remembered for what he did to keep the heroes alive during his lifetime. He was the biggest supporter of comics and never made any of us feel bad for loving him and what he created. Stan is a hero to me.
