Great Find
Back when the animated Spider-Man cartoon started in the early 90s, you could buy bagged Spider-Man comics with these transparencies inside that reproduced the animation cells of the cartoons. There were several different ones in the series. I remember taking this Doc Octopus one to a Grade One art class where it was a part of a huge wall mural that the kids traced and then colored. Fantastic find in my favorite book of all time - Strange Stories, Amazing Facts.

Calvin. You are my Brother from Another Mother.
I got a a copy of Strange Stories and Amazing Facts for Christmas.
Loved that book when I was a lad and now it is mine again.
It's the best book I ever owned. I read that one cover to cover about 100 times I bet. I love anything that collects stories like that. There is a second volume called Facts and Fallacies that is done in the same style also by Reader's Digest. I remember BEGGING my folks to buy me this one when I saw it for order with all the Reader's Digest stuff we got in our mail. Glad to know you are a fan. I respect someone who GETS IT.
