The Best Nursing Comic I Ever Read

 

I found this collection with my weekly download of comics and had a great time reading it last night. This was probably the riskiest comic Marvel ever put out. It tries to combine the excitement of a big city E.R. with kick-ass nurse heroics. Not Marvel's usual wheelhouse. The trade paperback also includes a Daredevil tale where the Night Nurse tries to treat Matt's injuries. Basically it was like the character played in the recent Netflix Daredevil series. There is certainly room for a medical professional who can keep a secret among the street heroes fighting the good fight. It would be cool to have both DD and the Punisher come to her for help after beating on each other in the same evening when the second season of DD begins. Jessica Jones and Iron Fist and Luke Cage can easily bring the Night Nurse into their world as well. Someone has to deliver the baby of Luke and Jessica when that storyline shows up. Once again Calvin is thinking way too much about these kinds of things.
