I had just eaten a bunch of carrot cake and cream soda and was feeling pretty good about myself. My dad was smoking on the front step and I asked him if I could try one of those smokes. He really played it up and had me practice several times to make sure I got a good inhale on that first puff. He even told me he was envious of my first cigarette.
My reaction was the same as Calvin's in the cartoon. I was sick as a dog for three days after that. Since then even the smell of tobacco sends my body back to that time and I can actually taste carrot cake and cream soda.

What gave me the biggest laugh was "Eighteen? By then I'll know better!" Hahahahaha! I started smoking at 18 and smoked for 15 years until I smartened up.
We were in my grandpa's truck and asked my mom if I could try a puff off hers, I was about 6. After the tingling left my head and my vision came back, I was informed by grandpa that if I puked in his truck I was getting my ass beat. Then they all had a roaring good laugh. Sometimes doing is the best way of not wanting.
It fixed me. I wish I had a kid to do this to when they were little but I don't smoke. I was so afraid that weed would produce the same sickening effect that nicotine does when I first tried it in University. Thank God for Old Toby.
Is old Toby the reefer?
Yes it is.
Oh my.
