As an artist I've got to say they're exquisite but wonder how many potatoe skins you gotta suck on to achieve that level of creepy.
Many, many potatoes skins. Plus this is Crime and Punishment and that book is gloomier than gloomy.
Gloomier than a dentist visit on a rainy day?
The Dentist, the rain and then a trip for a FULL adult male over fifty medical with that long lingering portion where you feel violated in a way not spoken of in polite circles.
He could have given me chocolates and talked sweet nothings into my ear first.
