I don't have to tell any of you how much I crush on Anson Mount from Hell on Wheels. His Cullen Bohanon is one of my all time TV heroes and now he is on the bridge of Discovery as Captain Christopher Pike. I am very pleased with this and the first trailer and all the goodness I have to look forward to. Thank you Jeebus. Maybe we can survive these dark times.

I like the way they handled the Enterprise costumes too (they are the similar to those on the Discovery, but colored like Star Trek TOS)!
Looks like Capt Pike is finally going to get his due!
