The Is No Gloom Like The Gloom That Is Doom

Doom is so complex you need do him like V for Vendetta. Assume that NO ONE knows all that makes Doom cool. Tell the whole story, gypsy magic and all. BOOKS OF DOOM is the model they should follow. And you let this megalomaniac evolve over time to realize that the only TRUE thing he wants is to be the head of a family like Richards is. He saved Valeria and Sue let him name her after his own lost love. Doom fought THE DEVIL of the Marvel Universe. I would love to see a young doom movie that has the fantastic four in it because he knew them all in college as well. Build him up and have his movie end with Doom watching new reports of the rocket launched that created the Four and hating every moment of it. He was the one who 'informed' Reed that he turned those closest to him into Monsters. Thus starts Reed's three movie arc that ends with him asking Victor to save his wife and unborn child. Reed never calls him Doctor Doom or Doom. He always calls him Victor. Reed will get his forgiveness but not without alot of grief from Sue, Johnny and Ben who is a real sad sack who has to learn to quite bitching about being made of rocks. Other people have things alot worse. Who is he to complain? Johnny of course has to grow up and stop being such a dick. I wish I could cast Chris Evans but he is too old for the role. Now Sue, she has a whole other problem. She is used to having ALL the attention. At the beginning I want he to be totally self absorbed and unlikeable. She has to realize that like it or not she is the Matriarch of a super powered family and that job is thankless. Her evolution as a hero is all about her powers. All Reed ever had her do was turn invisible at the first sign of trouble and hide behind a car so she doesn't get hurt. But fully realized, she is the most powerful member of an already overpowered team. She has a dozen ways to fuck you up that you will never see coming.
