I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

This is how we KNOW that comment is not true: MICHELLE Obama would have beat Barack's ass six ways to Sunday for even suggesting something that callous be done to immigrant children. Last time I looked, Barack was still walking.
Barack Obama was a man of conscience, conviction and character. He's not perfect and I didn't always agree with his policies, but I have no quibble with him at all as a man who always wanted and intended to do the right thing - both morally and for the country. He was not inherently evil like Dick Cheney, nor dangerously gullible like Dubya.
He also was not a reckless, conflicted, mean-spirited, self-absorbed, thin-skinned, licentious, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, lying fucktard like the current incumbent, whose only goal is to promote his own self-interest, even if he has to reduce the country to ashes to accomplish it. That orange jack-off makes Caligula look like Winston Churchill on the leadership scale. We KNOW he has no sense of decency; what perplexes people like me here in the center is how easily so many Republicans completely shat on their moral compasses in order to fall in line behind this fucker -- or worse, DEFEND him. Oh and one last thing: No one is saying that fat, orange and stupid built the "cage" facilities; it's undisputed that they were BUILT during the Obama Administration. But they were NEVER intended for children. They were detention facilities for ADULTS. MINORS were housed in HHS shelters. It was the TRUMP Administration that started putting children in these facilities when the HHS shelters became overcrowded due to the Trump/Sessions zero tolerance policy. This is NOT a continuation of a draconian practice from the prior administration. Oh no. Donald "I have to single-handedly save America from brown-skinned 4 year olds who will take your jobs and rape your women" Trump came up with this all on his lonesome.
