Cal's Canadian Cave of Coolness said...: I think they took it out to increase the effect of Tony's funeral. I loved the funeral scene with Nick Fury that guy who started the whole thing standing at the back, proud of his warriors. But this kneeling is so amazingly emotional. It returns kneeling from a bad thing to the most respectful thing you can do. It's honoring the sacrifice. I like that Hawkeye, who got the MOST back because of Tony was the one who led the gesture.
