The minute I saw Olivia Munn I knew I should give this one a chance. Sure Johnny Depp looks like he is channeling Ed Wood again but I like the rest of the cast and the time period and I think I really need a goofy Euro-comedy in my life.

I am curious about the time period. The book series its based on is from the 70s, but the LA setting looks like its both contemporary and retro.
