We needed a Caribbean island just for us winter weary Canadians. No 'mericans allowed. So we picked Cuba. Don't blame us. Your own government put the kibosh on travel to Cuba. Take it up with them. The cigars are everything they are advertised to be, btw.
And as for our involvement with Fidel, he is no more evil than the other dictators America has supported over the centuries. He's just the only one that made them look foolish when he switched to the other ideological side.

I hope that once Castro is dead, the USA will move to re-establish and normalize relations with Cuba again. It would be a good development.
For everyone but those Yankees have long memories and they would never give up a good boogeyman without a fight.
