Ditto everything everybody said. A veritable nexus of something hard to describe. Okay, there's a gaggle of geese, a murder of crows, a pod of whales, a flock of ducks, a descent of woodpeckers, an ambush of tigers, and then there's this. It must have a name!
They NEVER find toys when I watch it. I watched a whole weekend worth of Storage Wars when a relative was here. Nothing good showed up in those lockers.
And, how different are those rooms the rest of the time when you're not photographing them? (In other words, how much display arrangement did you do before taking these photos, and how much of that stuff is ordinarily packed away somewhere before you extracted it for the pictures?)
Two rooms. And yes. I video tour would be great. With commentary. I can do that with my IPAD. OOOOOOO NOW I have a project. Good idea Tim. And that will answer all your questions Jordan. Plus just more evidence for the insurance company.
...yeah, i'd like a video tour. i don't have quite as many toys as you, but when i think about what i do have, it's pretty staggering. i have hundreds of action figures- not even sure of the real number. ...and i just bought the 1:6, a couple Kai Play Arts, and an odd little NECA... heh, heh :D
That's for putting it that way. I am currently organizing a few things so that I could do a decent video for y'all. Glad to know there is some interest.
I have seen your stuff Colin. I would love to see your set-up an the stuff packed away. You have what you like and take some of the best toy photos in the business.
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Zoinks! That is impressive!!! Hope you are well insured!
very well in fact. That is why I take the pictures.
Smart man.
Awesome collection!
Makes my little collection of witches seem down right puny and sad.
You have children to raise and educate. I am saving a part of my childhood to fill the hollow hole that lies deep inside me.
Plus how many witch action figure do you see. Not even in Monster High line. Nary a witch in the lot.
Whenever I see those Storage Wars guys find a locker full of toys and comics, I think of you. LOL

So, how many rooms are we looking at here?

Wow! Simply wow! I think everyone has covered the awesomeness here already.
Have you considered a video tour of the Cave?

So wonderfully obsessive.
