I am the hugest fan of Ahsoka Tano. I followed her story since her creation and she is one of the great characters to never appear in the live action films. She HAS to be in Episode 7 but then again how do we explain her absence during Episodes 4 -6?

At first, I really didn't like Ahsoka Tano. I saw her as a shrill audience surrogate whose main function was to declare "Hey, girls! You can like Star Wars, too!"
But, somewhere around Season Three, my attitude towards Ahsoka shifted. She became less shrill and spunky, more serious and dedicated. She transitioned into a badass to be respected and reckoned with. When she left at the end of Season Five, I literally cried because her story affected me so much.
I look forward to seeing Ahsoka as part of the Ghost crew. I'm glad that my 6-year-old nephew (who lives and breathes Star Wars) will have this fantastic female character to remind him that girls on cartoons need not be helpless damsels-in-distress or eye candy. I'm glad that the girls in his class who love Star Wars will have a kickass role model.
June 20 (and the subsequent Season Two) cannot come fast enough.
