A cop is presumed dead only to be recruited into a top secret program. His first assignment is to train under the guidance of a mysterious man named Chiun. Chiun teaches our naive cop how to dodge bullets, run on water and start fires with his hands. These are the adventures of Remo Williams and they are merely a demonstration of things to come...
In the days before Jason Bourne we had Remo Williams with Fred Ward and Joel Grey. I always thought this would be a great series because the relationship between the two leads was very strong and the comedy perfectly matched with the high adventure. It was the 80s. We liked movies like this.

Fantastic flick - so disappointed they didn't continue with the series.
I agree. And they made a sequel to everything in those days.
I bet there's a Destroyer fan on staff at Netflix who is emailing their bosses every day about what a great series this would make.
Give me six episodes and a great actor to play Chun and I will make you a winning show. The scene where REMO calls him Little Father will have them crying in the aisles.
