Great one season show with a magnificent performance by John Malkovich. And who can't love Thomas Lowe. Physician?

"Oh I am that. But that is not all I am."

Only nine episodes to get the complete story and what a great pirate story it is. I found that it built to a very satisfying climax and I admired the entire production for the risks it too with story and character. Like Matador, this is gem not to be missed.
