Reposted from 2012. That is how old this comment is and his promise of more Avatar movies. I don't see so much as a trailer. What a joke. Way past his prime. Frankly I hated Avatar and still hate it. I hate that the dazzling cgi was weighed down by such a stupid script. STUPID. I mean don't remake a GOOD movie like Dances With Wolves. Remake a BAD movie if you can't think of anything original to do with your digital toys. I mean come on. Read a book or even a good comic book if you are bereft of ideas.

Yeah, I thought Avatar was a piece of crap too.
As you said, that story was told before and much better. What a waste of a lot of money. Three more. You can hope he will do something better in the next three. 5D.... Gimme a break.
