True Canadian Stories
When they first came up with the idea of ketchup flavored chips they tried them all over the world but universally they were rejected by the chip buying public except in Canada where they were a huge hit. That probably has a lot to do with the fact that per capita Canadians consume more ketchup than any other nation in the world. I know people from all over that order their ketchup chips online because once you get a taste for them you have to have more.

I've never been fussy about them -- guess I'm not a true Canadian!
me neither. But they are the rage here but in the rest of the world its a solid NO to them.
I love dipping plain potato chips in ketchup, but have never liked ketchup flavored chips. There's just something off putting about the flavor that doesn't make me think of ketchup.
