NOT Happy

According to scifi these are the CONCEPT drawings for the new PHANTOM tv series and I don't like them one bit. The only thing I recognize is the belt buckle and how is this suppose to work in an island jungle environment? The hoodie just seems so 'smallville' and looks like they took the look from the Green Arrow costume. I assume they will be taking the name PHANTOM literally and give him the power to disappear. Sure the original costume looks silly in real life but I hope they find a middle ground between the two. I got a bad feeling though that this show will have 'jumped the shark' before it even gets to air in 2010.
