A Cave Of Cool Classic Image
I had this picture by Rene Magritte on my wall when I was a kid. I tore it out of some old magazine at the dentist's office because it perfectly captured what my youthful concept of fantasy and imagination was. Even back then I was drawn to the unreal more than the real. Once I figured out that everything cool was probably not real I could deal with the 'real' world all the better. I think if I found out that Santa, The Devil, God and the Easter Bunny were real would have freaked the crap out of me. Trying to scare me out of doing something by telling me the 'boogeyman' would get me was the best way to reassure me. If that was the best you could come up with then I was going to be okay.
