It's no surprise to anyone that the 'Mask of Zorro' is one of my favorite films ever. Great action, comedy and romance. They had me at 'sword fighting' but went so much further than that.
So when 'Shrek 2' introduced the 'Puss-in-Boots' character (voiced by the very same Antonio Bandaras from Zorro) I was totally entertained. Now you give me a KITTEH ZORRO? How much more can a man ask for in life?
I have to admit I reacted with skepticism when I heard that Puss was getting his own spin-off. Here is the first picture from that upcoming Dreamworks film. I like very much the casting of Salma Hayek as Kitty, Puss' love interest. The two old 'Desperado' cast mates back together.
I am hoping this one will be good.
Also for your OZ fans out there (mainly NATHAN) here are the first looks at the new movie, 'Dorothy of Oz.'

Saw that on Dezz's post this morning. Hoping for the best, but not holding my breath after the last two Shrek films.
Castings OK...except for Belushi. I'd go with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Interesting stuff. Hope they are both good!
