Emma, Emma, Emma. Does anyone else think that Spidey's costume looks like it was cut out of old basketballs?

Simon B said...: I don't really have a problem with the fabric - it's not very different to that used in the first 3 movies - but it does annoy me that the design is just overly fussy. All those little blue pieces around the fingers etc. Ditko's original design was simpler, but classic, and was revolutionary for a super hero costume in the early '60s.; December 28, 2011 at 2:37 AM

Cal's Canadian Cave of Coolness said...: I have the same problems with the details as I do with Peter inventing his famous web fluid (which he also designed to be nearly impossible to reverse engineer) - just doesn't seem like something a teenage boy would be able to put together with incredients found around his house.

But that is REALLY fussy on my part.
