This looks like a lot of fun - using footage that looks like it was shot in 1900 gives newsreel background to the invasion from Mars as it would have been reported back in the day. I am a big fan of these kinds of projects that tweek an old property just enough to make it interesting to me all over again.

With a title like that I thought this was going to be about the Orson Welles broadcast. Still this looks neat, and kind of what I thought the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter movie adaptation would be like.
