Another Magnificent Bastard

Baron Helmut Zemo is the Thirteenth in the Baron Zemo lineage. Much like his father before him, he is an enemy of Captain America and the Avengers and has led the Masters of Evil on several occasions. Zemo has a gifted intellect, with certain scientific expertise, excellent marksmanship, and extensive training in hand-to-hand combat. He is also a highly accomplished strategist and leader. Helmut has circuitry in his headband designed to disrupt psionic manipulation.

 

Thunderbolts is where he belongs and I wish Marvel would bring Zemo back in a big way. He's got the potential to be a great anti-hero. Read the first 12 issues of Thunderbolts or the mini-series Zemo - Born Better to get a full sense of the character. I would like to see him in the third Captain America movie. He's always got his own agenda so even when teamed up with the bad guys he's always a dangerous wildcard because HIS endgame is always to be the only one in charge. Like Doom, Zemo is no man's slave and can fully be counted on to stab his allies in the back at his first opportunity.
