Calvin's Canadian Cave Of Cool Podcast

As you all know I have made the leap towards finally producing my own podcast - The brilliantly named CALVIN'S CANADIAN CAVE OF COOL. It's everything you see here on a daily basis but you get the extra bonus of hearing me opine about the things that I find interesting and cool. I have been doing this since I got my first duel cassette ghetto blaster and microphone. I know how to make interesting conversation on the topics I have an opinion about. And since I am well read and an expect in popular culture since the 1970s, I am a storehouse of good stories and fantastic observations that can send the conversation in a dozen of interesting directions. What more could you want to listen too while you are commuting or working a boring night shift?

I know this about myself. I know the things I am REALLY good at. This blog you are visiting right now is Exhibit A. I never put anything but my entire being into my posts and my podcast has that same time of content rich goodness. You will never be bored or walk away having not been entertained. I have no idea how NOT to be interesting. Listen on ONE podcast and tell me that I am lying.

Now as good as I am, I could not do the show I want to do without MD Jackson my Producer and court ordered companion who has found a way to take my babble and craft a show that makes you wanting more. He knows how to reign in my madness and talk me down of the ledge when I morph in the delicate hot house orchid that I can be. This weekend he stuck it out to record enough material for three shows but have stuff left over for our LOST TAPES episode. I just listened to the raw footage of last night's three hour show. I am so glad I have someone to edit it down into something more focused and infinitely better. If Herman Melville had such a competent editor working for him maybe the world would be telling the truth when they admit they like Moby Dick. NO ONE likes Moby Dick.

Today when he was busy going through the raw footage from last night he reminded me what my NEW 2019 catchphrase. I will try to work it into every situation I can and will only stop when I hear someone out in the wild use the same phrase. This year's phrase is...

It just popped into my mind and suddenly a dream was born.

With my awesome Producer reminding me, I would have totally forgotten.
