I love how Siskoid has been highlighting the most fabulous and famous kitties in all geekdom and today he reached number 62. Who ever thought there was 62 kitties or more in the genre? I know I didn't. This is almost one of my favorites.

You know Kirk thinks lives just grow on trees. "We just got 30 gross of red shirts from the outlet factory. They are irregulars, but who cares. Not meant to last long."
I was surprised that they all just didn't gang up on him and 'woooosh' Kirk out the airlock. It would have at least doubled their life expectancy. I always wonder if you get to choose to wear the red shirt or is it forced on you for some screw up you committed at the Academy.
I think the coloured shirts are issued after the results of the Academy's IQ exams come back.
62 is only scracthing the surface. And that's a promise.
